This contest is intended only for residents of Norway aged 18 or over. Entries from other jurisdictions may be deemed ineligible.
Employees of Fyffes International SA, their families, or anyone personally or professionally connected to the company are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
The contest opens on 20th October 2025 and the closing date has been extended to 15th November 2025.
All entries must be received by 23:59 CET on 15th November 2025. Entries submitted after this time will not be accepted.
Trudi’s reserves the right to adjust the contest period if necessary, and any such updates will be communicated via the official @hellotrudis Instagram account.

Each participant may submit only one entry. Additional comments will not increase the chances of selection.
The contest is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
The prize for the contest winner is a trip for two people (the winner and their chosen travel companion), including:
Travel period: January–June 2026 (excluding bank holidays).
Not included: inland transport other than airport–hotel–airport, travel insurance, visas or any other needed documents to travel, personal expenses, and any meals other than daily breakfast.
There will be one (1) winner.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered. Trudi’s reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary.
Travel Requirements and Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the winner and their travel companion to ensure that they meet all local entry and travel requirements for Costa Rica and any transit countries, including but not limited to valid passports, visas, travel insurance, health documentation, and vaccination requirements. Fyffes International SA shall not be liable if the winner or companion is unable to undertake the trip, in whole or in part, due to failure to satisfy such requirements, or due to changes in health regulations, border restrictions, or other circumstances beyond Fyffes’ control. No alternative prize or compensation will be provided in such cases.
Any tax liability arising from the receipt of the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.
This contest is based on skill and judgment, not on chance or random selection, and therefore does not constitute a lottery under the Norwegian Gambling Act (Pengespilloven §5).
The winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, and enthusiasm by a panel of Trudi’s representatives. Chance plays no part in the selection of the winner.
Entries will be reviewed after the contest closing date (15th November 2025) by a committee of 5 members, including 3 members from Trudi’s Marketing team and 2 members from Noise, the social media agency behind the @hellotrudis account.
The selected winner will be contacted via direct message from the official @hellotrudis Instagram account within 5 days of the closing date.
If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, Trudi’s reserves the right to select an alternative winner according to the same judging criteria.
By entering, participants agree that their name, Instagram handle, and entry text (including comments) may be used for promotional purposes related to this contest, without additional payment or permission.
Trudi’s may publish the winning entry and name on its official social media channels and website.
Fyffes International SA (“Trudi’s”) is the data controller for this contest. We collect and process participants’ personal data (e.g., Instagram handle, comments, name, and contact details if selected as winner) only to administer the contest, contact the winner, and deliver the prize.
Processing is based on our legitimate interest in managing the promotion (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, on consent for any further marketing (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Personal data will be kept securely and deleted within 3 months after the contest ends, unless a longer period is required by law. Data may be shared only with trusted service providers assisting with contest administration or prize delivery, under strict confidentiality obligations.
If data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g., to Switzerland), appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses will apply.
Participants have the right to access, rectify, erase, or object to processing of their data, and to withdraw consent at any time by contacting privacy@fyffes.com.
Complaints may be lodged with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
